2️⃣ Head to the second tab in the template
Once you have the template, navigate to the second tab, which is where the real work begins. This is where you’ll track every activity you do for one full week. From the moment you wake up to the time you go to sleep, log every task, break, and meeting—everything, even the small stuff. This part of the exercise is about building awareness, so don’t hold back.
3️⃣ Record every activity
It’s important to be diligent in your tracking. Whether you’re working, commuting, checking emails, or even scrolling through social media, it all goes into the log. The key here is honesty. At the end of the week, the audit will reflect how your time was truly spent, giving you insights into where your focus lies. If it feels overwhelming, remember that the knowledge gained from this process will give you the power to optimize your time moving forward.
